Its exploration gives him in a predatory way, degrading the natural populations of that specie. Thus, the objective of that work was study to genetic structure of the pariparoba, seeking to base conservation strategies and sustainable management of this specie in natural populations. Leaves samples were collected of reproductive individuaIs in 4 natural populations (Eldorado-SP, 29 samples; Sete Barras-SP, 24 samples; Ibirama-SC, 33 . samples; and São Pedro de Alcântara-SC, 22 samples) and subrnitted to the isozymes electrophoresis. It was used 9 enzymatic systerns, resulting in 10 putative loci: PRXl (2 aneles), PRX2 (2 alleles), 6PGDH (2 aneles), ACP (2 alleles), ME (1 allele) , SKDH (3 alleles), G6PDH (1 allele), POI (2 alleles), MDH (2 alleles), EST (3 alleles). The medium number of alleles per loci varied of 1,4 to 1,7, and the percentage of polymorphic loci varied of 30 to 60% in the studied aHeterozigosity aIsosyme aPolymorphic loci tIn: CONGRESSO NACIONAL DE GENETICA, 45., 1999, Gramado, RS.
