The variables analyzed were: temperature, dissolved oxygen (DO), pH, Chlorophyll a, ammonia (N-NH3) and total organic carbon (TOC). The results have demonstrated the existence of variables oscillations through 24 hours, mainly of temperature, dissolved oxygen (DO) and Chlorophyll a, verifying that the algal biomass was responsible for the alteration of values of the last two variables in the ponds. aAerated Facultative Pond aMaturation Pond aNictemeral Analysis aPiggery waste tIn: IWA WORLD WATER CONGRESS AND EXHIBITION, 2008, Vienna.
