The aim of this work was to characterize strains of this fungus with molecular and morphological descriptors. Sixty-four strains collected in nine regions in the State of Santa Catarina, Brazil, were used. All were pathogenic to cultivar ?Enxerto?. The growing rate in BDA médium 24ºC varied from 4.4 to 6.6 mm.day-1 and the colony colors varied from White to Pink and purple. Molecular techniques (RAPD and SSR) separated the isolates in three groups, the members of each group being similar in both techniques. aBanana aDisease aFungus tIn: REUNIAO INTERNACIONAL ACORBAT, 19., 2010, Medellin.
