The treatments used growing levels of oat powder (0, 33, 66 and 100%) in substitution to the corn, always keeping the diet with 28% GP and with 3100kcal of metabolizible energy/kg of ration, supplied in the proportion of 5% of living weight of the repetition, once a day. The common carp fingerlings showed at the end of the treatment period final medium weight of 13,75; 12,80; 11,82 and 10,93g; final medium length 9,17; 8,79; 8,83 and 8,48cm; medium weight gain of 12,64; 11,69; 10,71 and 9,82g and the medium length of 4,92; 4,54; 4,58 and 4,23cm respectively, survival of 87,8; 84,7; 84,0 and 87,7%; feed conversion ratio of 2,29; 2,37; 2,48 and 2,43. The results confirmed the use of the oat powder viability in substitution to the corn, in the common carp feeding, with efficiency up to 33% of the offered diet. aCarpa comum aCommon carp aCorn aFarelo de aveia aMilho aNutricao animal aOat1 aTOMAZELLI, A.1 aPRUNER, E.
