In the experiment cages of 4m³ of screen of aluminum were used with mesh of 25 mm and densities of 50, 100, 150, 200 and 250 peixes/m³, fed with ration extrusada containing 35% of PB for 30 days and in the last 153 days, with ration containing 28% of PB in 03 daily rations until the saciedade. The development of the fish was accompanied through monthly biometrias, where it was certain the length and the weight of 5% of the population of each tank. The obtained data indicate that the largest revenue and productivity was reached in the tank with larger stocking density, although the growth rates have been smaller. No mortality was verified during the cultivation period.
