H.  aExperiment of Grain Drying.h[electronic resource]  aTsukuba, Japão: Japan International Cooperation Agencyc1992  a14 p.  aThe following experiment was conducted in the attached farm of Tsukuba International Training Center and the objective was to compare three types of rice grain dryers.The three types of dryers were:flat bed dryer,circulating type dryer and solar grain dryer.The solar grain dryer was included in this experiment due to the good conditions available in Brazil to develop the same system.The result, in a rough analisys,was that the solar dryer is a more economic method than the others, because it absorbs the solar heat in a very efficient way. Despite the consumption of electricity,it is a very good and economic method to dry rice.In this experiment,there were some problems with very high temperature due to the very big area that was used to collect the solar heat.
