A. C. aBiometry of citrus fresh fruit produced in Bigua???? Sc/Brazil.h[electronic resource] c2015 aSanta Catarina (SC) State in Brazil is not consolidated in citrus production. Although, it has favorable climatic conditions for fruit development with organoleptic characteristics to fresh consumption. That is why, it is necessary to expand the information about the performance of different genotypes in local soil and climate conditions. The aim of this work was to evaluate the morphological characteristics of fruits of different citrus genotypes. The genotypes was oranges (SCS454 Catarina, Champanha, SCS457 Souza), tangerines (Clemenules, Okitsu, Mexerica Rio, Oota Ponkan, Tankan EEI, Ponkan), and the hybrid ??Fallglo`. The production field was planted in 2010 in Bigua??u SC / Brazil. Plants with five years old and grafted on Swingle citrumelo are in spacing of 4 x 6 meters. Fruits of three plants were evaluated about morphology traits (mass, juice volume, width, length, shell thickness and number of seeds). The experimental design was delineation randomized with three repetitions, each repetition being composed of five fruit. The genotypes were statistically different for all traits. Since larger fruit, high juice volume and no seeds are highly desirable features that contribute to the preference of the consumer market, the genotype SCS Souza stood with highest average mass values (99.07 g), juice volume (239.7 mL), width (94.07 cm) length (99.07 cm) and no seeds. Besides 'SCS Souza`, fruit genotype Okitsu showed no seeds, while the highest number of them was found in fruits of genotype Fallglo (27) and Mexerica Rio (24). 'Clemenules` presented on average 9 seeds per fruit, since it was not isolated planting. The wide variation in the characteristics evaluated intrinsic to each genotype expands consumer choice options. aadaptation aCitrus spp adescription1 aMARIGUELE, K.
