This experiment was developed in the Center of Technology in Aquaculture of the Department of Engineering of Fishing of the Federal University of Ceará - Brazil, in the period from 08/11/1999 to 08/01/2000 and he/she has as main objective to obtain more information regarding the survival and growth in weight and length in cultivation of Litopenaeus vannamei. The post-larva (PL-10) they were obtained of Fazenda Artemisa - Acaraú/CE. In the beginning of the cultivation the length and medium weight was of 1,56cm and 0,03g, respectively. After acclimatization, the post-larva were distributed in 9 boxes of plastic with volume of 20 liters. It was delineated for the experiment 3
treatments (fresh water - Ad, reject of deep wells - Ar and water of the sea - Am). the presented feeding went own ration to sea shrimp with 35%(P.B). The pH averages, salinity and temperature was of 8,02; 0,23?; 27,31ºC - 7,63; 5,56?; 27,4ºC - 7,65; 36,54?; 27,56ºC for the treatments Ad, AIR and AM. In agreement with the test - t (p <0,05) for dependent variables, there was not significant difference, being obtained weight averages and final length of 0,79 and 5,26; 0,94 and 5,04; 0,97 and 5,12. the survival was of 43,33%, 60,00% and 73,33% for the respective treatments (AD, AR and AM).
